Freshman Madelyn Gomez claimed her second straight individual title, and the Varsity Girls Cross Country finished 2nd against a tough field on Wednesday evening in the Pelican’s SnoBalls Invitational – hosted by Lexington HS.

Gomez’ 19:47 bested the next closest competitor by nearly 30 seconds, and Catherine Barron’s 21:01 was good enough for a 5th place overall finish.
